SWEETCORN FAST BLOCK RELEASE - 29 OCTOBER 2026
Mobile Setup v1.20 (code21) includes signed Board v1.19 (code20).

BLOCK RESPONSE CHANGE
Fresh authenticated Block commands attempt the managed block screen immediately.
The first retry is500ms; repeated Android launch failures back off5seconds to avoid
an activity-launch loop. Active clears the old retry deadline and cancels pending
block callbacks. Actual lock-task state is checked instead of trusting a stale flag.
The old30-second managed-screen cooldown is removed.

This is local processing after the board receives and verifies the command.
Normal server status polling remains30seconds; Firebase wake uses its existing
2-second request flood guard. Internet/push/Android launch time adds to the total.
A total500ms server-click-to-screen guarantee has NOT been measured or promised.
The user will perform actual board Active/Block timing tests; no hardware status
change, factory reset or board timing test was performed for this release.

INSTALL
Update Sweetcorn Setup on the phone. Board v1.19 is inbuilt and must be installed
on the intended board for this fix to take effect. Updating only the phone does
not change an already-installed board APK. Eligible securely enrolled Active boards
can take the signed board release through the existing automatic updater.

Both APKs use the same existing v2 certificate. Prior version/hash checks retained.
Developer Mode/debugging is NOT switched off automatically. The72-hour policy,
Wi-Fi system settings flow, private-token handling, UI theme/languages and reset
safeguards remain unchanged.
